A 50+ Year Family Legacy

Much has changed since this aerial captured the Stewart Family’s property in 1983, when roughly 5,000 citizens called Flower Mound home (today’s population tops 80,000). What hasn’t changed? The property’s mile-long connection with the pristine nature surrounding Lake Grapevine, the prime location near DFW Airport, and the family’s vision that the site will emerge as one of DFW’s top destinations.

The southernmost 40 acres of Lakeside held a special place in Peter P. Stewart’s vision for his 150 acres on Lake Grapevine. On these acres, the topography slopes more gently toward the lake, creating a remarkable peninsula of miles-long lake views. To maximize enjoyment of these views, he envisioned 15 to 20 story buildings along the lake shores. By 2016, as he neared his 96th birthday, Lakeside Tower had begun construction and he was able to witness the views he had dreamed of from 16-stories high!

A Team Dedicated to Fulfilling the Vision

Once Peter P. Stewart had completed the purchase of southern piece of the 150 acres he was assembling on Lake Grapevine, he began sharing his vision of a community anchored around the beauty of Lake Grapevine and fueled by the convenience of nearby DFW Airport. As he worked to pave the road that would lead to this development, he also focused on selling other landowners on the unique value of the property. Stewart assembled a team to fulfill his vision of high-rise towers along the shores of Lake Grapevine. The team has since dedicated themselves to living up to the excellence and vision for the property.
